Photo Booth Contest

Here is something that we did at our summer teen camp this year.

Instead of just having a photo booth for the students to take pictures in we decided to make it a little more interesting by making it a fun contest.

In the morning service we would unveil the photo of the day.  Then during the afternoon free time we had a photo booth set up with a bunch of random props and costumes.  The students had to use the props provided to try to recreate the photo of the day.

We showed the pictures that were taken and revealed the winning picture during the morning the next day before we unveiled the picture for that day’s contest.

It was very popular, and it was great seeing the students work together and be creative.  Anytime that we can give space for students to be creative, work together, and see themselves on the big screen during a service is a win!
